Antique Show
Our primary fundraiser, Antiques in the Valley, is held at the Long Valley Middle School in February. It features over 40 dealers offering quality American Primitive antiques and attracts hundreds of eager buyers from near and far. In addition to supporting state projects and many local organizations, the funds raised provide six scholarships (one music and five academic) to students at West Morris Central High School.
Holiday Luncheons
The HOLIDAY LUNCHEON, held in December, is a festive time celebrating the season with activities and entertainment along with a catered luncheon.
Annual Picnic
Each June, members of the Club enjoy a casual potluck picnic with an emphasis on friendship and relaxation.
Literary Club
The Club meets monthly at different members’ homes, and may gather at a restaurant for a special meeting. Attendees discuss books they have read and share their critiques with the group.
Creative Arts
The “Valley Girls” group writes a short skit each year which may be presented at the Federation’s Annual Performance Day, or at Club functions. Other creative presentations may also be shared with Club members.
Achievement Day
The Highlands District SPRING CONFERENCE AND ACHIEVEMENT DAY is an event celebrating the achievements of district Clubs. Members’ creative entries that are judged and awarded ribbons in categories such as art, crafts, knitting, baking and photography.
